Dental Emergencies

Although preventive dental care can prevent many dental issues, dental emergencies sometimes pop up. We understand the importance of quickly addressing dental issues to minimize the extent of the damage, for that reason we always try to accommodate dental emergencies as quickly as possible.

Toothache

Sometimes patients experience severe dental pain for a variety of reasons, from exposed roots to cracks in teeth. If you have severe tooth pain, we’d be happy to provide a dental examination to find the cause and devise a treatment plan to get you back to being pain-free.

Chipped/Cracked Tooth

If you have chipped or cracked a tooth, immediate treatment is necessary. Immediately addressing the issue can help prevent further cracking and decay. We may recommend fillings or crowns depending on the severity of your dental injury.

Missing Tooth

On occasion, an injury to your mouth can result in a missing tooth. Missing teeth can result in increased decay and shifting of teeth. If you have experienced a traumatic dental injury that resulted in a missing tooth, contact our office immediately so we can start a treatment plan.

Partially Dislodged Tooth

Sometimes an injury doesn’t result in a missing tooth but may loosen it. In these situations, the tooth may be able to be saved if you act quickly. For teeth that cannot be recovered, we may recommend treatments such as an implant or bridge.

Lost Fillings/Crowns/Veneers

Dental treatments don’t always last forever, especially depending upon how they are cared for. If you notice your dental restoration has fallen out or loosened, contact our office so that we can quickly address the issue. Leaving the dental work out can result in further damage and decay.

If you experience a dental emergency, don’t hesitate to call our Calgary dental office. We always try to accommodate dental emergencies as soon as possible and are also always welcoming new patients.
